One of the best. I remember sitting in Chris' room coming up with the prechorus while we were jamming. I wrote the lyrics about several things. How after the death of someone famous, everyone feels obligated to be a part of that memory by injecting themselves; Some guy I went to school with who "was writing symphonies" and was being portrayed as this tortured artist Instead of as a regular ole asshole; also about miscommunication. God damn, I love the ending to this one.
I found a session we did at the end of Colin's tenure were Tom played keyboard. It was done to a metronome, but this version is live. I had to match the tempo which was...not easy...

Lyrics by Derrick Faith
Manufactured
Right in style
Mass production
Audiophile
Restitution
For capital gains
An institution
Of fortune for fame
You're writing symphonies of bullshit
And haven't got a clue
That the only one
The Joker's laughing at
Is you
Watch your back
Cover your Face
Mind Your manners
And don't be late
Playing pretend
So the sheep can prey
They used to call out your name in vain
Now they'd rather not call at all
When you were blinded by the proposition
And then bled to the concert hall
Firing up inside my head
With the scars I left under your bed
Running around in circles
And the mystery still escapes me
Fabrication
Of second chance
Degredation
Dancing a blameless dance
Salvation
From impending attack
Another story?
Just obscure all the facts
Well I think,that it's fucking ridiculous,
And calculated
Now is not the time
To play the game
Just walk away
Cause there's nothing left
Can't stop it now there's
No time to rest
Stealing integrity
like petty theft
They used to call out your name in vain
Now they'd rather not call at all
When you were blinded by the proposition
And bled to the concert hall
It's been firing up inside your head
With the scars you left under your bed
Running around in circles
And the mystery still escapes you
You keep on waiting for your salvation
Instead why don’t you make it happen for yourself
I burned the bridge now I wade
Through the cold, cold water
Because I’m not afraid of what I’ve done or who I am
And where the fuck were you when I needed saving
You’re just too selfish to care about anyone else
I lit the flame, now I walk through a lake of fire
Can anybody hear me as I scream?
Please back away, just get away from me
(It's just too much for me)
Move along because there's nothing left to see
(It's just enough for me)
And still you watch, and you question my intentions
When the very same could be said for you
I felt the winds of a changing world consume me
But the only thing that’s really changed is your point of view
